FREE - FRUGAL ALERT! FREE SCARY FACE PANCAKES FOR KIDS AT IHOP ON OCTOBER 30, 2015.

Hi, I don't recommend "fast food", but if you are going to indulge anyway, I figure, why not get it for free. Also, considering it is a special occasion it's usually fine if you are healthy, because a healthy body can bounce back.  That's why I'm posting this.

IHOP restaurants nationwide will celebrate Halloween a little early this year, offering kids 12, and under, a FREE Scary Face Pancake.

The Scary Face Pancake comes with one fluffy, oversized buttermilk pancake, topped with a bright whipped topping smile and eyes, and strawberry nose. The kids also receive two mini Oreos^® and eight pieces of sweet candy corn that they can use to give their pancake a creative candy face.

This will take place on Friday, October 30, 2015, from 7 am - 10 pm.  Here is a link to all the details. Check out the link, and at the bottom of the page there are cute photos of kids who are decorating, and enjoying their pancakes.

Check to make sure your local IHOP is participating.  One per child.  Dine in only. No other purchase required.

FREE - FRUGAL ALERT! FREE WORLDWIDE ONLINE SCREENING OF THE MOVIE "SACRED SCIENCE" .

Hi,  this is a movie that you want to see.  It was one of the best movies I've seen recently, and it is available for FREE online screening until October 30, 2015.

It has everything you want in a movie.  It is fascinating, inspirational, interesting, touching, and educating while entertaining.

It's a wonderful glimpse into a little known world.

FREE - FRUGAL ALERT! FREE JUNIOR CHEF CLASS AT WILLIAMS-SONOMA ON OCTOBER 31, 2015.

Hi, on Saturday, October 31, 2015, kids can attend a FREE Junior Chef Class at 10 am at Williams-Sonoma.

Here is a link about some of the future classes they will be having.  I'll try to post them periodically, but bookmark the link so you can check them out frequently. 

This should be a fun activity for the kids before the Trick or Treating begins.  They can join in the fun of learning to prepare some Thanksgiving Day dishes.  On Saturday they will learn to prepare a delicious fall soup, and then they’ll make some fun miniature pumpkin tarts.

The hour-long classes include tastings of the prepared dishes.

Participants enjoy 10% savings on select same-day store purchases.

Available at all stores, but class times may vary by store locations.

Class sizes are limited so call your local store to register your child.  Here is a link to find the stores near you.

The Junior Chef classes are designed to teach the Junior Chef about food, how to cook, and seasonality.  This particular class is suitable for ages 8-13.

The classes are for the children, but a parent must stay in the store during the hour long class, and can enjoy a cup of coffee on them, and browse.

FREE - FRUGAL ALERT! FREE SNACK & FOOD ITEMS FROM CVS WITH PRINTABLE COUPONS

Hi, I don't recommend "junk food", but if you are going to indulge anyway, I figure, why not get it for free. LOL

You all know that I recommend only healthy eating, and living, but if you are healthy, an occasional treat is fine, that's why I'm posting this. 

If you're like me, you might just want to have them on hand for unexpected guests that eat these snacks.

You can get two, or more, totally free CVS Gold Emblem snack items with printable coupons.

Here is a link to the coupons.  Just go down a little on the CVS page to the red circle that says, "Save up to $5", and next to it is the "Get Coupons" link.

When you get to the coupon page, you may have to look through the rest of the coupons to find the CVS Gold Emblem coupons, but it is a fast process.

There is a coupon for $2 off any two Gold Emblem items.  There are also other CVS Gold Emblem coupons for either $2 off 2 specific items, or $1 off one specific item.  CVS has many Gold Emblem items that are $1. You may have to look around the store, but there are many snack items like the ones I have pictured, and they're good sized bags, not small bags.  They also have small bags of nuts for $1 for the item specific coupons.

Pictured above are all the items I got for free simply by using the coupons.  You are limited to two printable coupons per computer, but you may be able to print more with additional computers.

Hi, Saturday, October 10, 2015, from 12pm to 4pm, Walmart will be offering FREE health screenings.

They don't specify what the specific tests are, but you can call your local Walmart to find out.  They will be giving out gifts bags too, but I don't know what the gift bags contain.

FREE - FRUGAL ALERT! SAM'S CLUB HAS FREE HEALTH SCREENINGS ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2015.

Hi, next Saturday, October 10, 2015, from 11am to 3pm, Sam's Club will be offering FREE health screenings.  The tests are open to the public; no membership is required. This month they are offering Women's Health Screenings.

The tests include:  Glucose, Total Cholesterol, HDL, Risk Ratio, Blood Pressure, and Body Fat Percentage, and Vision Screening.  They are only available at Sam's Clubs with a Pharmacy Department.
